Tade Lario participates Rally Poland WRC

27.06.2016

Taisko "Tade" Lario and his co-driver Sami Ryynänen take part to Rally Poland, which is driven next weekend. They will compete in RC4-class with Peugeot 208 R2, with French team CHL Sport Auto. The rally is first foreign WRC race for Lario.

- Really great to participate Rally Poland. The roads are fast and narrow, and must be driven precisely. There will surely come deep ruts, because the roads are soft. We try to improve evenly during the race and that way get a good result. As a first timer in this rally it´s important to rememeber it´s a long race and it´s not solved on the first stages, comments Tade Lario before the start of recconnaissance.

After few days recconnaissance Lario and Ryynänen will take part on the shakedown stage on Thursday, where they get their first kilometres on Polish roads.

73rd Rajd Polski, the Rally Poland, starts on Thursday evening with an Super Special stage and ends on Sunday afternoon. The route is 306km long on 21 special stages. The rally takes Place in North-Poland, at Mikolajki-city. There are 67 entries in the whole rally and 12 cars in RC4-class (R2) where Lario is driving. The class has drivers from 8 countries. There are five Finnish crews in the whole race.

- We don´t have any longer plans in the World Rally Championship, we drive this rally and our intention is to take part also in Rally Finland. We have planned Rally Poland already for a long time and it is an excellent race to get experience from WRC-level and to measure our speed on high level R2-class, tells about his plans Lario, whose main focus is in French Peugeot 208 RallyCup this year.
